Account & subscriptions
Account details, subscription updates, and device setup.
What do I need to create an account, and where can I find my subscription?
No email address is required to create an account—just a username and password. Save your login details, then open the user panel from the site navigation. Your subscription is account-specific connection information. Retrieve it after signing in; it is not a public link on this help page. In the panel, check your plan status first, then find the subscription and import options. Choose a region and connect only after importing the subscription into your client. Subscription links may contain account identifiers, so use yours only in your own client. Never post it publicly or include the full link in a troubleshooting screenshot.
The route list has changed. How do I update my subscription link?
Open subscription or configuration management in your client, find the VPNDP configuration you imported, and use the update subscription option. When the update is complete, return to the route list and check that the region names and route types appear correctly. Then select a route and reconnect. If the update fails, first make sure your device has a working internet connection, then check your current subscription details in the user panel. Replace the old link with the current one only if the link in the panel has changed, then update again. Don't combine configurations from different sources in one subscription. If the issue persists, note the client message and update result, then describe the problem in a support ticket.
Do I need to choose a different plan when I switch devices?
VPNDP supports unlimited simultaneous devices, so you don't need to change plans just because you switch devices. Sign in to the same account on your new device, follow the setup instructions for that platform, and import your subscription. Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are all supported. Device count and plan data are separate: unlimited devices doesn't mean unlimited data. Check your usage in the panel. When you stop using an old device, disconnect it and remove the local subscription configuration. If you're handing the device to someone else, sign out and clear any saved connection details.
What's the difference between downloading a client and importing a subscription?
The client establishes the connection; the subscription provides available routes and connection settings. Installing a client alone does not import a subscription. Sign in and download the client from the download section of the user panel. Access to the installer is subject to having an active plan. After installation, return to the panel to retrieve your subscription. Use the import option or add it in the client's subscription settings. Check the configuration name and route list after importing, then choose a region and connect. If the list is empty, check whether the newly imported configuration is selected before reinstalling the client. For platform-specific instructions, see the quick-start guide.
Connection troubleshooting
Troubleshoot step by step, from your internet connection to app routing.
The client says I'm connected, but websites won't load. What should I do?
A connected status usually means the client completed its local connection process; it doesn't guarantee that a particular website is reachable. Disconnect first and check whether your device's internet connection works. If it doesn't, troubleshoot your local network. If it does, reconnect and try a few different websites to see whether all access is failing or only a specific service. Then check the active configuration, subscription update status, and proxy mode before trying another route for comparison. Avoid changing the protocol, routing rules, and DNS settings all at once, or it will be hard to tell what helped. Note the error message and what changed, then contact support through a ticket.
Why does a browser work while a particular app won't use the proxy?
Apps may handle system proxy settings differently, so a working browser doesn't mean every app is being routed through the proxy. Check that the client is using a proxy mode supported by your platform and that routing rules aren't set to send the app directly. On desktop, check whether the client offers a virtual network adapter or TUN mode, and grant any permissions it requires. Save your current settings before switching modes. On mobile, check the system VPN permission and the client's connection status. After changing settings, fully close and reopen the app so it doesn't keep using an existing connection. Don't rely only on the region shown in the app; check whether the request itself succeeds.
What should I do if the connection drops when my device sleeps or runs in the background?
Sleep, network changes, and background restrictions can all interrupt an active connection. After waking your device, make sure the internet connection is back, check that the client is still running, and reconnect. On Android, review battery settings and allow the client to run in the background using the options available on your device. Check the relevant background permissions on other platforms too. If you switch from a hotel network to another network, the existing session may need to reconnect; an app error doesn't necessarily mean your subscription has expired. Note the network, platform, and client message when the interruption occurred. Try to distinguish between sleep, the client being stopped in the background, and a route connection failure before submitting a ticket.
What information should I include in a connection troubleshooting ticket?
Submit the issue through the ticket section of the user panel. Include your device platform, client name, selected region, route type, and error message. Describe what you did before and after the issue started, such as updating the subscription, changing networks, or adjusting routing rules. Also say whether your basic internet connection works and whether other websites load normally. Keep the error message visible in screenshots, but hide subscription links, account identifiers, and other private information. Never send your password or full subscription link. If you tried other routes, explain what improved and what stayed the same. Specific comparisons are more useful than saying only that the connection is slow or doesn't work. Add any follow-up details to the original ticket.
Speed & routes
Compare regions and routes, not just status figures.
During peak hours, should I switch routes or change protocols first?
Keep the current protocol and compare other routes in the same region first. This makes it easier to tell whether congestion along the route is causing the slowdown. VPNDP covers 110+ countries / 230+ routes. Choose based on region and route type, not just the name. If none of the routes in that region work well, try another region and check whether your local network is also experiencing latency or packet loss. Consider changing protocols only after your basic connection is stable, and only to one supported by your client. After each change, test with the same app so you're comparing like with like. Route status is a guide for selection, not a measure of how quickly a particular app will respond.
How should I choose between IEPL dedicated routes, relay routes, and direct routes?
Route types describe how data travels; they aren't a universal ranking of app performance. Direct routes connect straight to the destination exit. Relay routes add a forwarding hop, while IEPL dedicated routes use a dedicated path. Actual performance still depends on your local connection, exit region, and the destination service. Choose a region based on what you need to access, then compare route types within that region. For work and long sessions, focus on connection stability; for video and audio, pay attention to playback quality. Don't assume a route will perform well just because its name says “dedicated,” and don't choose based on geographic distance alone. See the routes page and protocol guide for a fuller comparison.
Do I just need to choose a specific region to access AI tools or streaming services?
Region is only one factor that affects access. AI tools and streaming services may also consider your account region, service policies, billing details, or current network exit. No route can be treated as a guarantee of access to every platform. Check the target platform's regional requirements, choose a suitable route, then reopen the app and test the connection. If a website loads but a feature doesn't work, check the reason provided by the platform instead of repeatedly switching clients. Streaming catalogs can also change as platform policies change. VPNDP's AI guide offers troubleshooting tips; availability of specific platform features depends on the results you get after connecting.
Why is an app still slow when the route status looks normal?
Route status and app performance reflect different parts of the connection. Status indicators can't account for every factor, including your device's Wi-Fi, client routing rules, the destination service's response, and app cache. First compare different routes using the same app, then compare different apps using the same route. This helps distinguish a route issue from a destination service issue. If only one app is slow, check its account status, proxy rules, and error messages. If all apps are slow, check your basic connection and background activity, then update your subscription and compare again. When reporting the issue, include the selected region, route type, and test steps. Don't send only a screenshot of the status list or treat reference figures as guaranteed speeds.
Billing & refunds
Monthly data, data add-ons, upgrades, and refund requests.
What monthly plans are available, and when does data reset?
Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not on the first day of the calendar month. Choose a plan based on how you use the service and your usage in the panel; the number of devices doesn't indicate how much data you need. Check your account details in the user panel for your remaining data and current status. If you still expect heavy use near your reset date, review the plan and data add-on options before deciding what works for you. Unlimited simultaneous devices doesn't mean unlimited data, and a one-time reading in your local client may not reflect your full account balance.
When should I get a data add-on, and does it reset each month?
Data add-ons are ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire. Unlike monthly subscriptions, which reset data each month on the activation date, add-ons work on a different usage basis. Compare how often you access the service rather than looking only at the one-time price. An add-on may be worth considering if your usage is concentrated or varies significantly; for regular use, compare it with the monthly plans. If you already have a plan, check your current subscription status and available options in the panel. Don't assume how plans combine or which balance is used first. Contact support through a ticket if you have questions about how data is deducted from your account.
How does an upgrade work mid-cycle, and which payment methods are supported?
When you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into the remaining number of days. Start from the plan section of the user panel and review the order details shown there before confirming. Don't calculate the final validity period by simply subtracting monthly prices, or assume the upgrade restarts on the first day of the calendar month. VPNDP supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Check the selected plan and order status before paying. If the panel doesn't show the expected status after payment, review your order history first, then open a ticket with the order and payment details. Don't pay again just because the page still shows the old status. When sharing a payment screenshot, hide unrelated personal information but keep the details needed to verify the order.
How do I request a refund within 30 days?
VPNDP offers a 30-day refund policy. To request a refund, review the refund policy, sign in to the user panel, and submit a ticket with your request and the order details needed for verification. You can describe a connection issue separately from your refund request. If you'd also like help troubleshooting, include your device platform, route, and error message, but don't post account information on this help page. The refund policy has the full eligibility requirements and terms; this page makes no promises about refund arrival times or processing periods. Check replies and requests for additional information in the original ticket. Keeping everything in one ticket helps avoid verification delays. Never send your password or full subscription link.
